School and Dance
I am classically trained in ballet and have been dancing for 13 years. I attended the College of Business Scholars Academy at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and I am an honors graduate of Westside High School.
Show Choir
When I saw the show choir perform in elementary school, I thought it looked like fun -- and I was right! Participating in Westside show choirs for six years, and leading as Dance Captain, was AH MAZE ING. We were named as "the most successful show choir in Nebraska history."
Community Service
My first dance teacher, Mrs. Adair, always says, "leave it better than you found it." This mantra has inspired me to make things better and serve my community. To date, I have logged hundreds of community service hours. From working at the lending closet at Omaha Academy of Ballet, to writing postcards to encourage people to vote, there's always a way to make a difference!
Suicide Prevention
After my good friend and show choir partner, Jack, died by suicide in 2020 I learned about two members of my family who had also died by suicide but, due to shame, it was kept quiet. This inspired me to to take action to end this silent epidemic.
Other Facts
In addition to loving ice cream and milkshakes, I enjoy painting, diamond art, and being a dog-mom to @JestsonRudyTheFrenchie.
